"My life is different today because of Camp Luther. The Holy Spirit worked through all there to spread the Gospel message, a life-changing blessing to me and to everyone who was part of camp ministry."
Those words come from Dr. Thomas Wrege, a former Camp Luther Summer Staff member, who served as both a counselor and in maintenance during the 1980s. Decades later, he still reflects on how God used this camp ministry to shape his faith, build lifelong relationships, and strengthen his walk with Christ.
Each summer, Camp Luther's staff members, Program Interns, and volunteers spend their days immersed in God's Word, Christian fellowship, and lives of service. Just as Thomas reflected on decades after his time on staff, the Holy Spirit continues to work through the Gospel at Camp Luther, strengthening faith, forming lifelong Christ-centered relationships, and equipping young adults to live out their faith as bold witnesses to their neighbors, congregations, and communities long after their summers at camp have ended.
As Camp Luther enters its 60th year of ministry, we give thanks for the generations of campers, staff, volunteers, congregation partners, and supporters who have been part of this ministry. We invite you to continue praying for God's guidance, protection, and provision as He works through your camp. We also welcome you to join us in our goal of $350,000 in Annual Fund Gifts, helping ensure future generations continue to hear God's Word, grow in faith, form Christ-centered relationships, and be equipped for lives of Christian witness and leadership.
