National Night Out was so much fun! 🤩 We were honored to join with our sweet friends from Steven’s Chapel UMC, Parents as Teachers of Rural South Central Texas, Schulenburg Police Department, the Boys & Girls Club-Schulenburg, American Red Cross, First Methodist Church, Bert & Bill’s Taxi, St. James Missionary Baptist Church, United Evangelical Lutheran Church, and Elaine Hernandez and Wesley Nurse to enjoy hot dogs 🌭, sno cones 🍧, and serving one another. Where there is community there is fellowship.💜

This month’s Community Table was graced with the presence of local royalty! 👑 Ooh lala!
Thank you to the Schulenburg Festival Queen’s Court for their generous donations of nonperishable food items in support of Led + Fed’s food bag program with Schulenburg ISD. These young ladies serve our community in so many ways! We are grateful for their contributions, time, and heart to further Led + Fed’s mission of feeding people spiritually and physically.

THANK YOU to the Schulenburg 4-H for supporting Led + Fed with their latest Community Service project! 🍀 + ✝️

These junior leaders donated canned goods, rice, pasta, and other nonperishable food items. Every item collected will help fill food bags for a hunger relief food program Led + Fed provides to school families through partnership with Schulenburg ISD. We appreciate the 4-H members and their parents supporting this effort! 🍚 🫘 🌽

Together we can fight hunger. This is what food for good looks like. ✨

It’s that time again! Everyone is back in school and the schedules are already scheduling… 📅

So here’s another item to add to that calendar: 🍔 FREE hamburgers for you on Monday, August 24th! (*adds to calendar*)
✅You like cheese? Yum! We can add that.
❌Don’t like onions and mustard? No problem, not on this burger!

We will be in front of the SISD tennis courts/Junior High ready to serve you, our community, with food and fellowship.
✨
Can’t wait to see ya there!

Just because it’s summer doesn’t mean our food bag distribution stops! ☀️🍲 If anything, now it’s even more important to give out food bags to select families with school kiddos who aren’t receiving daily supplemental meals from the school cafeteria.
✨
We’re glad to tweak our standard food bag ingredients to make a further impact on our 12 recipient families. We’re sharing food, we’re sharing Jesus and we’re sharing hope in the community we serve.
✨
The work continues on with the help of our partnership with Schulenburg ISD. 🧡🖤
