❤️🐾 Our weekly visit to Iola-Scandinavia Middle & High School! 🐾❤️

Today was one of those days that reminds us exactly why we do this.
Our therapy dogs spent the day visiting Iola-Scandinavia Middle School & High School, where more than 20 students had their own little appointments to come sit with them, pet them, love on them, and just enjoy a few quiet moments together.
And those smiles. 🥹❤️
Watching the kids light up when they walked in and saw the dogs was incredibly rewarding. Some wanted cuddles, some wanted to sit on the floor with them, some wanted to talk, and some simply wanted a few minutes with a furry friend.
The dogs absolutely LOVED every minute of it too… although judging by the last few pictures, they were definitely ready for a nap by the end of the day. 😂🐩💤
This wasn’t just a one-time visit either! We’ll be returning every week throughout the school year, and we are so excited to continue building relationships with the students and giving them something special to look forward to.
And maybe… just maybe… we’ll have a third therapy dog joining the team in the future once she finishes her certification and, of course, passes! 🤞🐾❤️

We also want to say a huge THANK YOU to our amazing customers at Reba’s. Your support of our little business allows us to take time away from the salon to do things like this — things that may not happen inside the grooming salon, but mean so incredibly much to us.

Today was such a good day.

🇺🇸🐾 YOU'RE INVITED! 🐾🇺🇸

Join us on Saturday, August 1st for the Scandinavia Corn Roast Dog Parade!

This parade is especially meaningful to us because Scandinavia is where our business first began 10 years ago. It's the community that helped us grow, and we're excited to celebrate it with all of you!

We've been keeping a close eye on the weather, and it's looking like temperatures will be perfect for a safe and comfortable walk in the parade for both people and pups. ☀️🐶 Now we're just hoping the rain holds off! 🤞🌦️

❤️🤍💙 Dress yourself and your dog in your favorite red, white, and blue and help us make this the BIGGEST Dog Parade Scandinavia has ever seen!

📍 Parade Schedule 🐾 9:00 AM – Meet at our house if you'd like to walk over together. 🐾 9:15 AM – We'll head to the lineup. 🐾 9:30–10:00 AM – Meet us near Legacy Seeds. 🐾 10:00 AM – Parade begins!

🏡 After the parade, everyone is welcome back to our house where the dogs can cool off under the shade tree with a small pool and plenty of fresh water.

🐶 A few reminders: • All dogs are welcome! • Dogs must be on a secure leash (no retractable/flexi leads, please). • We'll have red and blue slip leads available if anyone needs one.

🎉🐩 Happy 1st Birthday to Ivy's final litter! 🩷

It's hard to believe these sweet pups are already one year old! Since the litter arrived throughout the night, some celebrate their birthday today and the rest tomorrow. Watching each of them grow into amazing dogs has been such a blessing, and we love seeing all of your updates. 💕

This was Ivy's last litter, making today even more special. While we had hoped to have another litter this year, Delilah hasn't gone into season (or may have had a silent heat), so we've made the decision to wait until spring. Winter puppies are much more difficult to raise, and we want to give our next litter the very best start. We can't wait to share that journey with you next spring! 🌷🐾

And a very special Happy Heavenly Birthday to our sweet Baby Ella. 🌈💜 We miss you every single day, and you'll always hold a special place in our hearts.

✨ BIG UPDATE FROM OUR THERAPY & SERVICE DOG JOURNEY ✨

I know it’s been a little while since I’ve shared an update… we have been SO busy with our new location for the grooming salon & retail space Reba's 🐾💜
But we are finally starting to settle in, and the best part… we are now able to use this space for training our amazing dogs as well 🥹

💜 Delilah has officially passed her therapy dog test!!
She completed her training through Pawsitively Unleashed!, and I want to give a huge thank you to Renea Dahms for all of her support and guidance through this journey.

She will soon be joining me at Iola-Scandinavia High School & Middle School with her mom Ivy on Tuesdays, bringing comfort, love, and those much-needed calming moments to students. I am beyond proud of her 💕

🐾 MooMoo!!!!!… this one hits me right in the heart ❤️
Over the last few months, working closely with this family and watching her bond and begin working with this young girl… she has truly found her purpose.

It honestly gives me goosebumps—
it was meant to be.

She is currently in training and working towards become a Service Dog for a young girl with Type 1 Diabetes, learning to detect and respond to her needs. This journey takes time, patience, and dedication—but she is proving to be such a perfect fit 🥹

I also want to give another big thank you to Renee from Positively Unleashed for helping connect MooMoo with this amazing family—working with her has been nothing short of incredible 💜

When her training is complete and she is ready, she will be donated to the family.

We are not raising puppies for profit…

Our puppies are donated to programs like Journey Together Service Dog —we have proudly donated 4 puppies so far 💜

Many of our dogs have also gone on to become therapy dogs, serving in schools and helping individuals through their day-to-day lives…
✨ changing lives, offering comfort, and providing care to so many in need. ✨

We are hoping to have a litter this fall, and this one is extra special 💜
These puppies will be coming from Delilah, as Ivy is now retired and her daughter is stepping in after completing all of her testing 🥹

Our goal is to continue this journey and provide more puppies to families in need.
