Sixty eight years ago in the Scandinavia Elementary school, before the consolidation of the area schools, this picture was taken of the happy 5th-8th graders. Mrs. Evelyn Voight is the teacher in this picture. Can you name everyone in this picture? Look how nicely everyone dressed up! What has changed in the common dress style and hair styles since then?

For most of the month of September of 1958 the number 1 song was Volare by Dominico Modugno. Gunsmoke was the number 1 tv show at this time. What playground games do you remember?

Isn't this a fantastic picture of the grand old high school? I'm sure you have many interesting memories of going to school there!

The last all class reunion took place in July of 2025. Below is a list of all of the alumni who attended, the committee members, events and the menu. Some of the committee members have now retired and a new group has begun work on the 2027 reunion. Committee members now are; Hannah Beth (Wogsland) Gutho, '73, Lynn (Mortenson) Meyers, '65, Lupe (Munoz) Carper, '66 and Chris (Fischer) Williams who handles all invitations. We could certainly use a few more committee members! We meet at Crystal's, so we reward ourselves with pie and coffee!

As you can see some of the classes are well represented and others are not. Any alumni who graduated 50 years or more will be invited. By 2027 the youngest class will include alumni from 1977.

We are looking forward to making the July, 2027 all class reunion "the place to be!" Please keep an eye on this page for updates, but in the meantime start making arrangements to "come home" then.
