📢 Huge Shout-Out to Our Incredible Corn Roast Volunteers!

Whether you cooked eats at the food stand , manned a gate, helped with the pulls, served some beer, delivered wood carvings or shucked corn, your community spirit made all the difference! To all of you who rolled up their sleeves & gave time to volunteer this past weekend: THANK YOU!

The Corn Roast doesn't just happen without the community's support. Because of your dedication, this non-profit is able to raise the funds needed to directly support our community and give back in meaningful ways throughout the year. We can't wait to do more! Here’s to another year in the books!

Big News: The dock is officially in! To be in a position to donate this to our community is truly a dream come true. Our hearts are overflowing with gratitude to give back to the area we love so much! We hope ya'll enjoy the upgrade whether you are casting a line for an afternoon of fishing 🎣 or launching a kayak for a quiet paddle 🚣

Big changes are coming to the Silver Lake! We’re saying a temporary goodbye to the old dock as it gets removed to make way for something even better. So please take note if you want to drop your boat in the next couple days for some fishing!

The fantastic news? A brand-new, bigger, and improved dock is scheduled to go in Wednesday! The new dock will be long enough for two boats to tie up and a kayak launch! 🙌

We are humbled, all of us at the Booster Club, for being able to donate this incredible upgrade to our beloved community for all to enjoy!

There is nothing quite like driving down Main Street when all the flags are up! It instantly makes the town feel so vibrant and connected. Huge shoutout to Countryside Propane for sponsoring the flags, Shoemaker Companies for the lift and everyone involved in putting them up! We had the honor of the man who started the main street flag program, Doug Watson, put up the first flag again this year.

Take a drive or a stroll downtown today if you can—it’s a beautiful sight! ❤️🤍💙

A big thank you to the Township & Village of Scandinavia, we sincerely appreciate our ongoing partnership! The Township & Village maintains their generosity in allowing us to use the park grounds. It creates a welcoming community space for say, the rummage sale this weekend, private events held all summer long, as well as booster club events.

We are pleased to provide a donation to help with the costs of mowing all the community greenspace!
