🚒 QUICK RESPONSE, FAST KNOCKDOWN — SAYVILLE FIREFIGHTERS MAKE THE DIFFERENCE! 🚒
Last night, Sayville Firefighters were alerted to a report of a structure fire on the north end of town, off Broadway Avenue.
Upon arrival, units entered the smoke-filled dwelling, searched for occupants, and located a working fire in the basement laundry room. A hoseline was quickly stretched, searches continued, and the fire was rapidly knocked down.
Thankfully, all occupants were safe and accounted for. Firefighters remained on scene to completely ventilate the home. Fire damage was limited to the contents of the laundry room, with no extension to the structure.
