Coastal Georgia Nurse Honor Guard The Nurse Honor Guard pays tribute to all nurses who have dedicated their lives to the Nursing Profession.

We honor the nurse at the time of their death by performing the Nightingale Tribute and releasing them of their nursing duties at no cost to family.

Yesterday, the Coastal Georgia Nurse Honor Guard had the privilege of honoring Nurse Catherine “Cathy” Yeager, RN, for her lifelong dedication and service to the nursing profession.

Cathy graduated from Bethesda Hospital School of Nursing in 1964. She continued her educational journey by earning her Bachelor of Science degree from the College of St. Francis in 1985.
As a registered nurse, Cathy devoted her life to caring for others with compassion, dedication, and kindness. Her commitment to her patients and the nursing profession left a lasting impact on the countless lives she touched.
The Coastal Georgia Nurse Honor Guard was honored to stand in tribute to Cathy and recognize her years of faithful service. We remember her legacy of compassion, her caring spirit, and the difference she made in the lives of so many.

Yesterday, The Coastal Georgia Nurse Honor Guard was honored to provide a tribute service for Kelli Suzanne Cason Rose, RN.

Kelli was a dedicated nurse who spent her career caring for others with compassion, kindness, and unwavering dedication. Throughout her years of service, she touched countless lives—not only through the exceptional care she provided to her patients, but also through the meaningful friendships and connections she built along the way.

Those who knew Kelli will remember her caring heart, her strength, and her remarkable ability to make others feel loved, valued, and appreciated. Her legacy of service and compassion will continue to live on in the many lives she touched.

On behalf of the Coastal Georgia Nurse Honor Guard, we extend our deepest sympathies to Kelli’s family, friends, and colleagues. It was our privilege to honor a nurse whose life was a true reflection of the nursing profession’s highest ideals.

We would also like to congratulate Sarah Evanss, LPN on receiving her First Service Pin!

Sarah also joined our Coastal Georgia Nurse Honor Guard family in May of this year and has already answered the call to help honor a fellow nurse through service and tribute. Receiving her inaugural service pin on June 4th marks the beginning of what we know will be a meaningful journey with our organization.

Today, the Coastal Georgia Nurse Honor Guard
was privileged to honor Nurse Joanna Lamar, RN, for her retirement after more than 40 years of dedicated service to the nursing profession.

For over four decades, she has cared for countless patients, comforted families, mentored fellow nurses, and made a lasting impact on her community. Her compassion, dedication, and commitment to excellence embody the very heart of nursing.

As she closes this chapter and begins a well-deserved retirement, we thank her for the lives she has touched and the difference she has made throughout her extraordinary career.

Congratulations on your retirement and on more than 40 years of service. May this next journey bring you joy, relaxation, and many new adventures. Your nursing legacy will continue to inspire generations to come.
