Scouting America National Day of Service is a nationwide day of community service taking place on November 14, 2026. Scouts, families, and volunteers will work together to make a positive impact in their communities.

As part of Scouting America's Impact365 initiative and the America250 celebration, the event encourages every unit to complete service projects and work toward a goal of 250 service hours in 2026.

Projects may include food drives, park and trail cleanups, supporting local organizations, or helping neighbors in need. Units can record their service hours, and participants can earn a special National Day of Service emblem and recognition pin.

The event celebrates Scouting's commitment to helping others and encourages Scouts to make service a year-round tradition.

University of Scouting registration is live!

Calling all adults, leaders, and parents: join us for a day of Scouter training!

December 12th at Hinesville First UMC. Opening ceremonies start at 9:30, and classes start at 10am. Lunch is included.

Whether you are a seasoned leader or just getting started in the program, we have classes designed for you.

Choose your own curriculum and select a class for each of the six periods. Classes are categorized as General, Troop, or Cub Scouts.

Winter Camp at Black Creek is almost here, and it comes loaded with hands-on merit badges, a camp talent show, and a ride down the Polar Zip.

These aren't just classroom lessons. Scouts tackle badges like Automotive Maintenance and Wilderness Survival, then test their nerve on the zip line and swap stories around camp. Pick one skill to walk away with, one challenge to take on, and make room for the people you'll meet along the way.

Trail to Troop: Webelos & AOL Weekend is a hands-on camping experience designed to help Webelos and Arrow of Light Scouts prepare for the transition into Scouts BSA. From November 6–8, 2026, at Black Creek Scout Reservation, Scouts will learn troop camping skills, practice leadership through patrol elections and assigned roles, and work toward advancement requirements.

Scouts will teach classes at the campsites, covering topics such as First Aid, Outdoor Adventure, Bobcat, knots, hiking, knife safety, cooking, fire building, and campsite setup. Participants will prepare their own meals by patrol with guidance from older Scouts, practice Leave No Trace principles, design patrol flags, and perform skits at the Saturday evening campfire. Adults can observe the learning experience, and AOL parents are encouraged to participate in IOLS adult leader training.

The goal: Give Cub Scouts a real taste of troop life and help them feel confident and prepared for their next adventure in Scouting.

Registration is open to all Webelos, AOL, and Scout Troops.
