💙🐾 A little teamwork, a lot of heart, and… SNAKES?! 🐍😂

Yesterday, we had the pleasure of welcoming five wonderful WCCU Credit Union team members for their Staff Development Day at Pet Supplies Plus in Sauk City to help us!

Our afternoon began with sharing the story and mission behind New Chapter Animal Rescue, followed by some hands-on volunteering! From cat socializing and cleaning to tackling administrative projects, these amazing volunteers jumped right in to help make a difference.

And somewhere along the way, our afternoon took a little unexpected turn with some snake socializing, too! 🐍🤣

A HUGE thank you to WCCU for encouraging your employees to give back to local nonprofits and to the five incredible individuals who chose to spend their afternoon supporting our mission.

It takes a village to give animals a second chance, and we're so grateful you're part of ours! 💙🐾

🧡🐾 DOUBLE THE GINGER. DOUBLE THE LOVE. ONE FOREVER HOME!

Take another look at Sunny & Mookie! 🐱🐱 These handsome orange tabby boys are still searching for their happily ever after, TOGETHER!

These bonded brothers have become incredibly playful, especially when they're together! Watching them chase, wrestle and enjoy life side by side is a reminder of just how special their bond truly is. 🧡

Sunny is ready to soak up the love, while Mookie may need a little extra time and patience to warm up to his new humans. But that's the beauty of giving an animal a second chance, watching trust grow and personalities blossom! 💕

Why adopt one orange tabby when you can have twice the love, twice the companionship and twice the adorable antics?

🧡 Two hearts. Eight paws. One inseparable bond.

Could your home be the next chapter they've been waiting for?

We're a foster-based rescue with big hearts, big dreams and a growing need for more loving foster homes!

Every day, animals in our community need a second chance, and the more foster families we have, the more lives we can change!

The best part? We provide the food, supplies, veterinary care and support. You provide a safe place, a little love and a temporary home until forever comes along. 🐱🐶

Whether you're an experienced foster or simply curious about getting involved, we'd love to connect!

Open your heart. Open your home. Help us turn the page to a better life!

Our inaugural Waggin’ W**e Walk is officially in the books, and what a wonderful first year it was!
We set a goal of 50 registrants and proudly surpassed it with 58 registered participants! What began as an idea turned into a morning filled with community, connection, wagging tails, and a shared purpose of helping animals in need.

An event like this doesn't happen without the generosity and dedication of so many.
🐾 Our Community Partners: Sauk Prairie Recreation Department, Anytime Fitness of Sauk Prairie, Pet Supplies Plus - Sauk City, WI .

🐾 Our Top Dog Sponsors: A special thank you to Kraemer Brothers LLC, Center of Chiropractic Neurology , Stafford Financial (Gallagher) and WCCU Credit Union.

🐾 Our Happy Tails Sponsors: Thank you to each of businesses: Iza Korwel (Korwel Reality), Funeral and Cremation Care, Optimal Performance Innovations, BPI, Advanced Physical Medicine

🐾 Our Food / Beverage Sponsors: Thank you to The Vines, Dunkin', Prem Meats, and The Gym Bar and Grill.

🐾 Our Raffle Donors: To the many local businesses and community members who contributed raffle baskets, prizes, and donations, thank you for making our celebration even more special!

🐾 Our Incredible Volunteers: From planning and preparation to setup, registration, and cleanup, you are the heart of New Chapter Animal Rescue. We couldn't do this without you.

And finally, THANK YOU to everyone who registered, walked, donated, and celebrated alongside us.

As a nonprofit that launched just this January, seeing this level of community support reminds us why we started New Chapter Animal Rescue in the first place.
Together, we're turning the page to a better life for animals in need.

She's finding her confidence, loves the comfort of other kitties and has a sweet personality that's blossoming more every day.
