It's been a long time since we've checked in, our apologies. Grief doesn't always make sense or follow any pattern, rhyme or reason. It's quite literally knocked us on our behinds and, unfortunately, taken our foot off the gas here.
But a sense of renewed hope has been made by Loki's youngest cousin: Charlotte. This summer while visiting Wisconsin, she continuously talked about her older cousin (who passed when she was only two). She asked questions, made up stories and enjoyed looking at photos of our boy.
Back at home in Virginia, this has continued as she keeps him alive in her heart and life. Her wonderful mother has decided to collect school supplies for her/them to donate to her school in his honor.
