Checking In!

I know it has been a while since we've made any update or announcement pertaining to . Grief is not linear; the pain ebbs and flows and it never truly goes away.

While we were able to really throw ourselves into the foundation last year as a positive distraction, this year has been significantly more difficult. That doesn't mean we don't plan on moving forward with honoring our son through school supply drives and enrichment for the George Culver Library, it just means that right now we are focused on embracing our grief and trying to heal.

Thank you everyone for what you have done since we lost Loki. Thank you for the support and love. We feel so very grateful to have such a beautiful community to love and miss our boy.

Keep your eyes peeled for updates near the beginning of next year. Hoping to kick off the new year by celebrating Loki's 16th birthday on January 28th with a fundraiser of sorts.

Today was a big day for the Loki Linzmeier Memorial Foundation! Donations for the teachers at Sauk Prairie High School were delivered this morning.

We are beyond honored to be able to supply 31 Gift Bags and Binder Packs to support the freshman teachers who would have taught Loki this year. We hope his kindness can be shared through our efforts and his legacy continues.

I am utterly speechless. This was what awaited me when I walked in the door after work today. And news I hear from The George Culver Library is we have an overflowing drum there too.

Loki was welcomed into the family of his beat friend, Brayden. They treated him like their own. He had a special controller for the PS4 that only he was allowed to use. This was all a gift from Brayden's Mom - Loki's Mother-in-Love.

Thank you everyone. I know things have been quiet the last few weeks - grief sneaks up on you and hits you HARD. But we're still here. Fighting the good fight to give our son, brother, grandson, nephew and friend the legacy he deserves.
