Malden Anglers Kicks Off a Great New Season

Forty-seven members attended our first meeting since May, making it a lively evening filled with good conversation, familiar faces, and several new members.

A special thank you goes to Steve Ramocki, who spent several hours before the meeting pumping floodwater from our parking lot after the recent heavy rains.

Our dinner was prepared by new member Thomas Tovato, a chef by trade, who treated us to an outstanding spaghetti, meatball, and Italian sausage meal, along with homemade brownies. Thanks also to Carol Mendelssohn, Joe Perritano, Larry Snook, and the many other members who stepped up to help with meal preparation, setup, and cleanup. Additional thanks to Doreen Koor for the delicious pastries.

Following the business meeting, members enjoyed a presentation by Club President Thomas Lew, who shared highlights from a recent fly-fishing trip to Montana.

Thank you to everyone who attended and helped make the evening such a success. We look forward to seeing everyone again at our next meeting on October 27.
