Let's Talk About It! 🦋 ARFID is one of the many different eating disorders that a
person can struggle with. ARFID is when a person struggles to eat, not solely because of weight, but because of lack of interest in food, sensory issues with how certain foods taste, smell, and feel, and anxiety around eating food that could have adverse side effects such as allergic reactions or food poisoning. ARFID is most common in clinical settings as it often occurs with other diagnoses like OCD, PTSD, Anxiety, ADHD, and autism. There is no "look" to Binge Eating and there
is hope for recovery.
