ONE STAGE. EVERY BODY. ✨

In 2026, we had a surprise: every dancer at the festival learned the same Burlesque choreography and performed it together on the Sarasota Opera House stage. 💃🖤❤️

Some had danced their whole lives. Others had never danced before, like the mother (61) and aunt (50) of one of our founders. Everyone learned it, everyone shone, and everyone felt the magic of the stage.

That’s Thalhe: dance is for everyone. 🩰

Save the date: September 10–12, 2027, in Sarasota, FL. See you on stage! 💛

YOU CHOOSE. WE DANCE! ✨

Last year, we surprised our Broadway Jazz participants with a special opportunity to perform together at our Sunday Gala!

Now, for THALHE FESTIVAL 2027, we’re letting YOU decide which dance style should take the stage! ✨

🩰 1 — Ballet
🎭 2 — Broadway Jazz
👞 3 — Tap Dance
🔥 4 — Hip-Hop
💫 5 — Contemporary

✨ EXCELLENCE, EXPERIENCE & ARTISTIC GROWTH AT THALHE FESTIVAL! 🩰

We were honored to welcome two distinguished ballet professionals to the Thalhe Festival 2026, who shared their expertise by providing valuable artistic feedback on our participants’ choreographies.

🌟 Christopher Hird — Education Director at The Sarasota Ballet, trained at The Royal Ballet School in London. With an extensive career in dance education, including 13 years at Boston Ballet School, he brings exceptional experience in classical ballet training and artistic development.

🌟 Alysson Rocha — Brazilian ballet master, educator, and Head of the Professional Division at Oklahoma City Ballet. A former dancer and First Ballet Master at Ballett Dortmund in Germany, he brings an impressive international background in performance, teaching, and artistic direction.

📝 And we have something special for our participants!

Both professionals carefully reviewed our participants’ choreographies and provided individual comments and artistic feedback to support their continued growth.

📬 Keep an eye on your mailbox!

Each participant will soon receive their personalized feedback form delivered directly to their home!

At Thalhe Festival, we believe that every performance is an opportunity to learn, grow, and be inspired. ❤️

DAY 3 ✨ The perfect ending to an unforgettable weekend.

Our final day at the Thalhe Festival was filled with dance, connection, courage, and so many beautiful moments. From our last classes to the stage, the Gala, and our celebration together, this day represented everything Thalhe is about. ❤️

A space where adults can dance, express themselves, challenge themselves, and simply belong.

Thank you to every dancer, teacher, guest, volunteer, and everyone who helped make our 2nd edition so special.

We came together through dance, and we left with memories we’ll carry far beyond the stage.

Until next time. 🩰✨

This video was created to be shared during our Gala, but unfortunately, due to technical difficulties, we weren’t able to show it as planned.

And something made with so much love deserves to be seen. 💛

This is a glimpse of the joy, courage, connection, and beautiful moments we experienced together at The Thalhe Festival. Every smile, every step, and every story reminds us why we created this space.

Thank you to everyone who made this unforgettable weekend possible. Especial thanks for

Our hearts are still so full. 💛

To every dancer who trusted us with their story, every teacher who shared their knowledge and passion, every performer who brought the stage to life, and every staff member and volunteer who worked tirelessly behind the scenes. Thank you.

To our sponsors, partners, supporters, families, friends, and every person who joined us in the audience: your presence, your applause, and your love made this celebration complete.

The Thalhe Festival is not created by one person. It is created by all of us, by every helping hand, every encouraging word, every brave step onto the dance floor, and every heart that believes dance belongs to everyone.

We hope you felt welcomed, celebrated, and deeply loved, because you are not simply part of our festival… you are part of the Thalhe family.

Thank you for believing in this dream and for making this year so unforgettable. Until we dance together again. ✨
