We are very proud to have started the fight to stop the scam with synthetic intoxicating h**p products and to have played a role in ending the lies from an illegal industry. This legislation gives Michigan h**p farmers new opportunities and the ability to make a comeback and lead the h**p industry. Michigan is a legal h**p state. We can now produce our own products in Michigan by Michigan companies for Michigan customers. New opportunities are coming, folks. Im saddened to announce that the Michigan H**p Farmer Association will be closing its doors after 16 years of service to the Michigan H**p industry. Our Michigan H**p Farmer Association was established in 2009 by the Brown family of Saranac, Mi. It was honor to be the very 1st federally licensed Michigan h**p farmer in Michigan since 1937. Unfortunately I have a traumatic brain injury with suspected CTE and need to put most of our families attention to my health. We will continue to maintain this page for educational and information purposes. We will continue to have the annual Michigan H**p Festival until I can no longer do it. And ill do what I can as a h**p pioneer and advocate as long as possible. Such an incredible part of my life serving the Michigan H**p industry. Thank all of you so much. Michigan Recreational customers deserve to know they are consuming synthetic h**p conversion products under the guise and misrepresentations of being natural occuring cannabis products. The Michigan H**p Farmer Association has requested Michigan Senators to adopt an accurate labeling requirement from SB 599 that mandates Synthetic h**p conversion products be labeled as such. We also request that each product be labeled that the the product has not been evaluated by the FDA. **pFarmerAssociation

We have requested Michigan Senators on SB599 to mandate proper labeling for all Synthetic h**p conversion THC products. Michigan consumers deserve to know if they are consuming possibly dangerous hazardous non natural occuring THC cannabis gummies, vapes and edible products sold under the guise of real cannabis. Todays Michigan Senate hearing on SB 599 our concern was focused on proper labeling of h**p conversion products as "Synthetic". At the current time our President's administration is focused on removing harmful unneeded and and wanted poisions in our food system. Pertaining to the language in this Bill we will be working very hard for Michigan consumer protections to ensure that synthetic h**p conversion THC products can no longer be sold in Michigan dispensary's under the guise of Cannabis. We require bold easy to read labels disclaiming the synthetic ingredients and a warning that these products have not been evaluated by the FDA. Due ti my 16 year sabbatical we unformedbthe committee we would haveb to follow up with additional information in the near future. We are unhapppy with national corporate h**p lobbyist controlling the messaging on the feed back for this bill but we are greatful that I H**p was present at the meeting when we were not able to attend.
