While Pack 143 was on winter break Sapulpa Boy Scout Troop 225 enjoyed Winter Camp! We are ready to see everyone back next week!

Good Shepherd Episcopal invited Pack 143 to join them for the Sapulpa Christmas Parade last Saturday. Pack 143 won 2nd place Youth entry!

Pack 143 had a busy weekend. We started Saturday off by helping with Troop 224’s annual service project putting out wreaths on the graves of service members at Green Hill Funeral Home.

Our Cub Scouts love hearing about what the Troop is doing. They look forward to when they get to move up in 6th grade. If you aren’t following Troop 225 you should be!

A Scout is Helpful. Tonight a couple of our pack and troop members volunteered at Jefferson Heights Night at the North Pole. These boys did an amazing job interacting with the students and cheering them on at the games.

One of the core values that Scouts teaches is Community Service. Tonight a couple of the Troop 225 Scouts and Leaders volunteered at Freedom’s Holiday Extravaganza! They even got to meet Santa 🎅🏼 look for some of our Troop and Pack members Thursday at Jefferson Hights and don’t forget to ask how to come check out a meeting!

Every meeting is started with The Pledge of Allegiance, the Scout Oath, and the Scout Law. Our Oath and Law that scouts live by has remained the same for 115 years. Tonight Pack 143 broke down the Law and really dug into what it means. Tonight’s word was Trustworthy. Here is what our kiddos shared (ages K-5th grade).
Trustworthy means…
-not lying
-telling the truth
-being trustful and worthy
-doing what you are supposed to do
-being able to be trusted with someone else’s things
-picking up after others

Cub Scout Pack 143 is back! A Great Opportunity for Families

As summer winds down, excitement is building for the return of school...and Cub Scouting! Pack 143 at Sapulpa Methodist offers boys and girls in kindergarten through fifth grade the chance to grow in character, citizenship, and faith. Scouting teaches lessons through hands-on activities, teamwork, and service so that kids grow while they are having fun. With meetings resuming August 25th, now is the perfect time for families to consider enrolling their children or grandchildren in this dynamic and faith-friendly program.

Pack 143's end-of-the-year parent survey speaks volumes. In response to the three survey questions asked:

"How likely are you to recommend Cub Scout Pack 143 to others?",
"How likely are you to invite friends/family to join Cub Scout Pack143?", and
"Did you feel Cub Scout Pack 143 was a good value for you and your family?"
Pack 143 scored 9.83 out of 10 on all three questions asked. All of the families said they planned to return this year!

Cub Scouts provides more than just outdoor adventures—it fosters values that align with faith teachings, including respect, responsibility, and compassion. Kids not only build friendships but also deepen their understanding of self respect and integrity.

Families will find Cub Scouts to be a natural extension of your child's spiritual upbringing, reinforcing those principles in everyday life. Scouting strengthens family bonds by offering a supportive parent community. Come and absorb strategies for working with children that will strengthen your parenting skills, helping both parent and child.
