Credit Union of Southern California (CU SoCal) Dave Gunderson: President and Chief Executive Officer (CEO) presented the Whittier Host Lions Club with a $35,000 check to support WHLC work in the community and the club's upcoming funding raising effort Sight for Kids that is in October.

Thank you CU of SoCal for your continuing support and making a big difference in the Whittier community.

Camille Marquez and Lenora Perri from the East Whittier Women's Club visited the club today to tell the members about their Fall BBQ on Sept 12th. WHLC Lions are going to bring the club's portable BBQ rig and take on the meat preparation. This has been a very successful event which the club has helped with the BBQ and brought the club's BBQ trailer in prior years.
