The Brittany Foundation is a 501(c)(3) dog rescue and sanctuary located in Agua Dulce, CA, (Santa Clarita) that was started in 1994.

Our goal for every dog we rescue is a loving forever home, but they have a home here with us for as long as they need it.

Peri-Peri (aka Oscar) is 10 and, after almost a year at the Ranch, is ready to retire to a home of his own! His ideal setup? A comfy couch, grown people who adore him, and no other dogs to complicate things.

Please see the note from his family. They have taken all the necessary steps to try to find him, but he is still missing.

“We lost our beloved terrier mix Max today, 10/17, around 9.30am. We’re not sure how he got out. Cross streets are Valley Circle and Calenda Drive, just north of the 101 freeway. We are in Woodland Hills, CA.
He’s about 12, very friendly and sweet.

Missy has found her forever home! She has so much love to give, and now she has someone very special to share it with. She’s settled back into home life quickly, and she and Jacquie are off to a wonderful start together!

Girl Scout Gold Star Project Complete!
Thank you, Ava, for taking an unused area in need of a makeover and turning it into a beautiful multi-purpose yard for our pups.

Unnecessary fencing was removed, the gate was repaired, painted and secured, and the entire space was power washed. Fresh paint and turf give a much-needed refresh, while added seating, a shade sail, and colorful flowers brought it all together. Fun touches throughout make it feel fun and inviting.

Now, it’s a quiet, welcoming place for meet and greets and one-on-one time with our pups, with a large, flat area where they can run, play, explore, and simply enjoy being outside.

Well done, Ava! Troop 322!

When life turns out even better than you hoped…
Sweet 16 looks pretty amazing on Brittany alum, Bowie!

Back in 2018, Bowie was waiting in an LA shelter. He spent more than two years with us before finally hitting the jackpot and finding his amazing forever family.

And now, look at him! Celebrating his 16th birthday surrounded by so much love.

ADOPTION UPDATE!
Sasha has found her forever home!
This sweet senior has finally found her family, and we couldn’t be happier for her. Sasha now has a beautiful home, a great yard, and the kindest people to share it all with. She is settling in beautifully and enjoying every minute of her new life!
Thank you so much to the Fawkes family for opening their hearts and home to such a deserving senior pup.
A special thank you to our longtime friend and volunteer Jessica for her help in making this wonderful match happen.

Forever In Our Hearts❤️
Six years ago, we pulled Prince from the Lancaster shelter, never knowing just how much he would come to mean to so many people.
When he was diagnosed with cancer a few years ago, we weren’t sure how much time we had with him. We were so lucky to have been given more time than we ever expected.

Over the years, Prince had an entire village of people who made his days brighter. Calvin introduced him to the kiddie pools, and Gina was always there for walks and playtime. Alex, Kim, and Carole shared countless walks and special moments with him. Julie patiently helped him overcome his fear of cars. Kay and Dina made sure Prince never had to wonder when the next treat was coming. Our staff knew all his little quirks, making sure his bed was always piled high with blankets just the way he liked it, his chair was perfectly positioned, his room was filled with toys, and he had special home-cooked meals on the days he wasn’t feeling well.

A very special thank you to Marie, Matt, and Mark, who became such a constant part of Prince’s life over the past three years. The time spent with him, the treats, the toys, and the countless hours playing with him in dogway all meant so much. You gave him something every dog deserves: the feeling of family and knowing he was loved.

Oh sweet, sweet Prince…we hope you’re now splashing around in the biggest pool, surrounded by endless tennis balls and more toys than you could ever imagine.
Thank you for all the laughs, the memories, and the joy you brought to our days. Rest easy, sweet boy.🌈
