Our Estacada YouthHub recently hosted a Back-to-School Clothing Drive and we are thankful to everyone who donated clothing, helped set up, spread the word, or stopped by. We had a great group of participants come through and plenty of items find new homes before the school year started.

We love seeing the YouthHub used for things that bring people together. Thanks for showing up, Estacada!

🌲 Got a pile of branches sitting around your property?

Our Community Wildfire Defense Program (CWDP) is hosting a Community Chipping Event for residents in Rhododendron, Welches, ZigZag, and Brightwood! It’s a great opportunity to clear up woody debris around your property while taking another step toward making our mountain communities more fire-ready.

Make sure you register by September 9: https://bit.ly/SeptChip

A few things to know before you make your pile:

• Put your pile along the roadside the day before the event
• Stack everything neatly with the cut ends facing the road
• Piles can be up to 5' x 5' x 5'
• Branches can be up to 9" in diameter
• Please keep out dirt, rocks, metal, and trash
• Natural woody debris only (no lumber, treated wood, stumps, or construction materials)

Let’s work together to keep our mountain communities safer, healthier, and better prepared.

The teen who finds a safe place to ask questions, make mistakes, and just be themselves.

The young person who needs someone to say, “I believe in you.”

James is one of our Youth Navigators, helping create a welcoming space where young people can connect, get support, build relationships, and just be themselves. 💚

📍 Stop by the Sandy YouthHub and say hi to James!

Our Youth Hubs are currently open 11 AM–6 PM, Monday–Friday. Starting September 8, when students head back to school, we’ll return to our regular hours of 2–6 PM, Monday–Friday.

Come hang out, connect, and see what the YouthHub is all about!
