Estacada Firefighter Micah Koch was seriously injured while working during the Fourth of July fireworks display. He is now facing a long recovery, and his family needs support to manage medical expenses and other costs. Our Foundation was honored to support the Estacada Safety Fair on May 3rd at Wade Creek Park. Todos Juntos Clackamas County, Estacada Youth Prevention Coalition and City of Estacada were able to use a donation from our foundation to give away the following raffle prizes:

-6 home safety kits
-2 BBQ safety kits
-75 kids bike helmets
-4 bike safety kits
-1 kiddie life jacket
-4 outdoor/hiking safety kit (4 each)
-6 summer safety kits
-2 family safety kits
-1 recreation safety kit
-5 safety vests.

The funds from CESF specifically went towards the home safety and family safety kits in the raffle prizes.

Congratulations to Sandy High School Seniors, Tanner Sedgwick and Liliana Hamilton for each receiving a Scholarship from our Foundation!

They were 2 of 8 local students who received a $2000 Art Johnston Memorial Scholarship for pursuing a career as a Fire Fighter/Paramedic.

Raymond was one of 8 local students who received a $2000 Art Johnston Memorial Scholarship for pursuing a career in Criminal Justice.
