CALLING ALL CLACKAMAS COUNTY HIGH SCHOOL SENIORS AND COLLEGE STUDENTS PURSUING EMERGENCY SERVICES PROFESSIONS! We have scholarships available to you!

In 1998, a Clackamas Fire District #1 firefighter was killed in a tragic fall. In his memory, fire district employees initially established the Art Johnston Memorial Scholarship Fund within the Foundation to assist his teenage daughter with college education expenses.
The Foundation has since built upon this effort, expanding its scope to provide scholarships each year to college students pursuing a course of study related to emergency services professions.

❄️ The US National Weather Service Portland Oregon is forecasting a stretch of cold, dry weather through Tuesday, Jan. 27. ❄️

➡️ Find warm spaces, including overnight shelters, libraries and the Behavioral Health Resource Center, at link.multco.us/warm-spaces or multco.us/cold.

➡️ A ticket is required to enter the Behavioral Health Resource Center’s day center at 333 SW Park in downtown Portland. You can get a ticket from the outreach van on NW Broadway and Glisan from 6am to 2pm, or until tickets run out. Learn more: multco.us/info/behavioral-health-resource-center

➡️ The City of Portland announced that starting Friday morning, many of their emergency overnight shelters will extend morning operations by several hours until 8am, through Sunday, Jan. 25.
