Whether you're looking to begin a career in EMS, join your local fire department, or gain the knowledge and skills to help others during emergencies, this is your opportunity!

Congratulations, Firefighter/Paramedic Zach Carlson! 🚑

Today, we are proud to congratulate Zach Carlson on officially being sworn in as a full-time District Firefighter/Paramedic with the Sandwich Community Fire Protection District.

Zach is currently six months into his probationary year, and during these past six months, he has already proven himself to be a valuable and vital member of our department. His dedication, professionalism, willingness to learn, and commitment to serving our community have made him a great addition to our team.

Zach is also the newest member of Sandwich Professional Firefighters Local 5529, officially joining the brotherhood and becoming part of the SFD family.

🚒 Congratulations, Lieutenant Davis! 🚒

Tonight, we are proud to announce that Union President Matthew “Dahn” Davis was officially promoted to the rank of Lieutenant!

Matt is one of the original six full-time District members and has continued to demonstrate his commitment to the fire service, our department, and the community throughout his career.

Over the past couple of years, Matt has continued to challenge himself professionally, completing Fire Apparatus Engineer (FAE), earning his Hazardous Materials Technician certification, and becoming a Fire Investigator.

This promotion is another milestone in a career built on hard work, dedication, and continued professional growth.
