**ATTENTION** **NUECES RIVER-LIVE OAK COUNTY**
Flood Warning

..The US National Weather Service Corpus Christi Texas has issued a Flood Warning for the following rivers in Texas...
Nueces River Near Three Rivers affecting Live Oak County.
For the Nueces River...including Cotulla, Tilden, Three Rivers,
Mathis, Bluntzer, Calallen...Major flooding is forecast.
* WHAT...Moderate flooding is forecast.
* WHERE...Nueces River near Three Rivers.
* WHEN...From Monday evening until further notice.
* IMPACTS...At 35.0 feet, Major lowland flooding occurs. Flow backs
up minor creeks to the slabs of lowest homes in the River Creek
Acres Subdivision, five miles southeast of George West, requiring
evacuations. Livestock are cut off and could drown in low areas.
* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
- At 8:15 AM CDT Thursday the stage was 1.3 feet.
- Bankfull stage is 20.0 feet.
- Forecast...The river is expected to rise above flood stage Monday
evening and continue rising to 33.7 feet Tuesday morning.
Additional rises are possible thereafter.
- Flood stage is 25.0 feet.
- Flood History...This crest compares to a previous crest of 34.1
feet on 10/08/2017.

Instructions
Turn around, don't drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood
deaths occur in vehicles.
Motorists should not attempt to drive around barricades or drive cars
through flooded areas.
Caution is urged when walking near riverbanks.
