Lagarto Volunteer Fire Department is proud to announce the addition of new wildland firefighting gear, made possible through a grant. We are also excited to showcase our new fire truck, which was added to our fleet earlier this year.
These important investments help ensure our firefighters have the equipment they need to respond safely and effectively while serving our community. We are incredibly grateful for the support that makes these improvements possible and remain committed to protecting the citizens of Lagarto.

🚒 Help Hydrate Our Firefighters This Summer 🚒
As South Texas faces triple-digit temperatures, the dedicated volunteers of the Lagarto Volunteer Fire Department continue answering emergency calls, protecting lives, and serving our community. Long hours in extreme heat increase the risk of dehydration and heat-related illnesses, making proper hydration essential for firefighter safety and performance. We are asking for donations of electrolyte hydration packets and hydration sticks to help keep our firefighters healthy, hydrated, and ready to serve. Donations can be dropped off at either of our designated locations or made through our Cash App. Every packet and every dollar donated helps support the men and women who proudly serve our community. Thank you for helping us keep our firefighters strong throughout the summer season! 💧🚒❤️
Cash App Donations: $lagarto830
"When the heat rises, our firefighters still answer the call. Help keep them hydrated and ready to serve."
