ONE READY TO GO! MIGHT HAVE 2 OF THESE IF ALL GOES WELL.

Bird Bazaar is taking shape. Got one of these put together and working on organizing the pieces of a second one. They are stupid expensive new, as shown. But super cheap here…

WOBBLES IS READY!
Bird Bazaar is just a couple of days away and Wobbles is hoping he’ll find a good home. We have 3 Tom Turkeys and Wobbles is the odd man out so he’d love to leave here! He’s dog gentle and very handsome. Meet him this weekend.

SUCH SMART COWS!
They have already overcome their suspicions and learned to come into the pens for feeding time. This will make separating and loading them for their rides to new homes SO much less stressful. A little time invested, a lot of strife avoided.

HARBINGERS OF THINGS TO COME?
I sure hope so!! The cows are all lying down at an unusual time of day. The Texas Sage are blooming their hearts out. Folks older than me would say that this means rain is coming. That’d be great so long as it’s not over the weekend. Don’t want our Bird Bazaar soaked out. But rain would be nice…I’ve got 100lbs of Oat and Ryegrass seed to put out. Fingers crossed!!

AMAZON ANGEL GIFTS ARRIVED!
We sure did need these great storage containers. They’re pricey, so not in our budget, but they sure are great at keeping pesky critters out of valuable supplements and such for the animals. Keeping vital supplies safe is a BIG deal. Thank You, Nancy! You are AMAZING!

So much great stuff we’ll never use again. Finding more every day. These collapsible wire kennels have been hiding in the adoption event trailer for years just waiting to be put back to use. They’ll be for sale at our event this Saturday & Sunday, from 10am till 2:00pm! 226 FM 70, Sandia TX 78383

BIRDS, BIRDS, BIRDS!
These are just a few of the birds that will be hoping for homes this weekend. Very reasonable adoption donations. This Saturday & Sunday from 10am to 2:00pm. Just come when you can, bring a cage (or pick one out here) but be sure and close the gate! Barnyard Sanctuary, 226 FM 70, Sandia TX 78383

IT’S GONNA BE “BEE BAZAAR” TOO
Our Bird Bazaar will be a little different this year. In addition to a few teenaged chicks, a small group of pullets, a few laying hens, tons of ducks, 2 girlie geese, several peacock babies, guinea pigs, pet rats, a bunny, and lots of pet items of all kinds, we’ll be clearing out my beekeeping supplies as well. My attention to the bees is not sufficient to prevent my girls from getting a taste for feral drone. They got WAY too spicy for safety. The naughty bees have been relocated but I have lots of woodenware, clothing, handling & processing equipment and accessories that should be put to use by someone. Reasonably priced. All proceeds to directly benefit the Sanctuary. This Saturday & Sunday 10am to 2 pm. 226 FM 70, Sandia TX 78383
