They are both 5 years old and around 45 lbs., spayed/neutered, healthy, house-trained, sweet and affectionate. Remember our posts about foster homes? Well, this is an example… if we can’t find a foster home for one dog, there’s little chance of finding one for two dogs. But we’re hopeful they will be adopted quickly out of the shelter… so PLEASE share this post and let’s get Sophie and Magnum in their forever home ASAP!

Help! Nelo needs a foster home in Northern California!

Nelo is a handsome and approachable 65 lb 4-year-old liver-and-white neutered male GSP who recently had surgery to remove a painful, injured eye. He has adjusted well to living with one eye. His favorite things are treats and tennis balls! He was adopted and then returned to the shelter because the adopters’ work schedules changed. He's good with other dogs, no info re: cats. We'd love to get him out of the shelter asap.

Can you take him in and help him on his way to his new best life? We’d like to know more about him so we can find him his best forever home – and you get the first option to adopt him! Rescue pays for vet care, meds, training. Transportation to your Northern California home will be provided.
