UJIMA Family Recovery Services Kicks off Substance Use Disorder Treatment Month!
We know that, for many Americans, January can mark a time when they try to visualize a life without a SUD—and when they resolve to pursue treatment and recovery. This observance offers you the chance to join partners, and people across the nation to increase awareness of, treatment for, and recovery from SUD. This year’s theme is: “Treatment Works! Find the Path that Works for You.”
By the end of January, UJIMA programs hopes the resources shared during the month will help you or someone you know to seek help and find the resources they need. Everyone should have an opportunity to live to their fullest potential.

This June, we honor Men’s Mental Health Month, a time dedicated to raising awareness about the importance of men’s health and well-being. This month encourages men to prioritize their mental and physical health, at Ujima we know how hard it can be to prioritize self-care, but that it is a necessary act of self-kindness. Turn your struggles into strength, continue to build hope and share with others to do the same. 🧡
