Shooting Stars Basketball Season 20 Kick-off is this Sunday 8/30 at Corky Smith Gym in San Marcos. Volunteer Orientation 2:30-3:30, Uniform Pick-up 3:00-4:30 and Parent Orientation 3:45-4:15. We are looking forward to getting the season rolling. If you would like to volunteer and make a difference…join us this season!! Player registration is also open. Shooting Stars Special Needs Basketball Season 20 Kick-Off is less that 2 weeks away!

The schedule for Kick-Off 8/30 at Corky Smith Gym in San Marcos is:
Volunteer Orientation 2:30-3:30
Player Uniform Pick-Up 3:00-4:30
Player Parent Orientation/Q&A 3:45-4:15

This will be our biggest and best year yet. We already have nearly 200 players registered with more every day! We are now on the lookout for additional volunteers/buddies who are looking to make a difference in the lives of our players. If you can help us get the word out to schools, family, friends, neighbors, etc… we would really appreciate it! (Flier pictured here). Registration is available at www.shootingstarsgroup.org. Shooting Stars Families...We have our Monthly "Together in Motion" Family Walk tomorrow (Friday) 4:00 at Walnut Grove Park in San Marcos (meeting at William's Barn on the south side of the park). Very casual and it gives families a chance to connect while getting some exercise! We hope to see you there!

What a fantastic wrap up to our Summer 2026 activities! Pickleball with our awesome Players, Volunteers and Coaches! Zak Katz, Sarah, Phil and John from Pickleball Z were wonderful, as usual, keeping everyone engaged and "Together in Motion". Thank you also to Pickleball Republic Carlsbad-North for use of the great facility! Now...onward to Basketball Season 20!

Today is the day! We hope you can join us for our Monthly “Shooting Stars-Together in Motion” Family Group Walk this afternoon...Meet at Williams Barn in Walnut Grove Park, San Marcos Friday 7/24 at 4:00pm! Very casual and a way to get the kids outside and exercising!

Catching up a little from last week's Outdoor Fitness. The participants were awesome and braved the heat to join us for a great mix of games and activities! Thank you Brandon Seibert of Ninja Dude Parties for lending us a hand! Looking forward to our Together In Motion Family Walk this Friday at Walnut Grove Park in San Marcos and our Summer Wrap-up with Pickleball next Monday and Tuesday....and then Basketball!
