As Casa de Amparo continues to grow and add more programs to our continuum of care, we are so grateful for volunteers who offer their time to help us with major projects.
Over the last few months, Casa has been working to prepare for the groundbreaking of our Psychiatric Residential Treatment Facility (PRTF). The PRTF will be on our San Marcos campus, where youth and young adults experiencing mental health crises can receive treatment and care.
Along with the planning of our PRTF, Casa de Amparo is also opening an on-campus Intensive Outpatient and Partial Hospitalization Program, a day treatment program that works with young adults whose needs fall between outpatient care and residential treatment.
With this, Casa has been in a major transitional phase, with offices moving, rooms getting repainted, furniture being built, and storage pods being moved across campus. Our volunteers have been vital in getting these projects done in a timely manner to stay on schedule for new program openings.
