Our spring soccer program run by UK International is now open for registration!! It is set to start the week of March 16th through June 7th! See flyer for more details.

The spring program is a fun, low-key program for younger players. For kids born in 2015-2020, there’s a training session during the week at Heather in the late afternoon and then a scrimmage on Sunday afternoons at Central. For kids born in 2021-2022, there is a single session on Sundays at Central.

Knickerbocker-Masters Tournament is this weekend for 10U and next weekend for 8U and 12U. This is a special and unique San Carlos AYSO tournament with a series of fast-paced, short games that give all teams a chance to medal. We see teams come together, grow, and have fun in this day-long tournament. Hats off to coaches, referees, and field volunteers for making this possible!

History:
In the winter of 1969 only about one hundred AYSO players could be found scattered across Northern California. AYSO came to San Carlos in 1974, with just a few teams, under Emmett MacCorkle. In 1976, the San Carlos Region was chartered under the national organization by Dick Knickerbocker and was recognized to operate within the city boundaries of the City of San Carlos. We are the beneficiaries of the effort, skill, know-how, good will and wonderful positive attitudes of many people over the years. The Knickerbocker-Masters Cup Tournament is intended to celebrate those individuals. This annual tournament was named after Dick Knickerbocker who served as commissioner for seven years and Bob Masters who was on AYSO’s board for 8 years and was Regional Commissioner from 1986 to 1988.

This weekend is SILENT SATURDAY for 8U to 14U Divisions! The players typically really enjoy this weekend, while the adults struggle with it more. We can do it! 🙂

The overall goal of Silent Saturday is to let the kids play and really do it themselves without immediate instruction from coaches and parents.

NO VOCAL INSTRUCTIONS from coaches and parents on the field (this includes generic statements such as "Go!") and the only cheering should be clapping after a good play is performed.

Players are encouraged to communicate and cheer for each other!

It’s Soccerama time!!! Can’t wait to kick off the season with Soccerama tonight and opening day games tomorrow!

We still need referees!!! Kids over 12 and adults can get trained. If you’re interested in learning more, DM us.
