Healthy Cities Tutoring Healthy Cities Tutoring helps kids who struggle to succeed in school. Program is located in San Carlos and serves students in the San Carlos Schools District.

Tutor/mentor program that provides one-on-one support to children in grades kindergarten through eighth with the help of community volunteers. During the 2011-12 school year program helped 159 students with the help of 150 volunteers.

A new school year is full of possibilities. ✏️📚

For hundreds of local students, it can also mean having a caring volunteer tutor by their side each week. Someone who helps with reading, math, or homework, celebrates their progress, and gives them the confidence that comes from a little extra one-on-one attention.

As HCT begins our 30th year, we’re working to reach even more students across our community.
