Greetings,🫡
As many of you may know I’ve been working on this toxic exposure situation in Panama for over 15 years now…

The fact of the matter is that although the government has records and surely knows that there were many toxic chemicals used in the padlock zone to not only combat the vegetation, but to combat the mosquitoes was literally a war against the mosquitoes and the weeds or “The Green Hell!”

I myself have chronic lymphocytic leukemia, ischemic heart disease with a pacemaker from a heart attack. I had five years ago. I’m only 67… sadly our children have been affected also by my own toxicity, and those two younger ones that were sprayed and are also being betrayed by the government system that we call “the presumptive decision-making process.”

We are ALMOST There!

Veterans and residents deserve recognition for Panama Canal Zone toxic exposure

Many veterans and residents who lived in the Panama Canal Zone have developed serious health conditions from toxic chemical exposure, yet the area is still missing from the VA's official toxic exposure list. Camp Lejeune and Agent Orange areas are recognized, but the Canal Zone—where the U.S. military stored and disposed of numerous hazardous substances—has been overlooked.

This matters because families are suffering in silence. Chronic illnesses, cancer, heart disease—these aren't just statistics. They're real people who served or lived there and now struggle to get the healthcare and support they need. The VA should recognize what happened there, just like they have for other bases.

Thanks Katy Padilla our next Congresswoman for sharing this “Precious Moment” when the troops from Fort Sam Houston came out to help us put out the flags this year on Memorial Day!

This is one of the most beautiful things that I get to do as a citizen and as a Veteran at The Fort Sam Houston national Cemetery.

We need more ears and more communities support at the national and at the San Antonio national Veteran Cemetery for these events.

America, Can You Hear Me?

Every day, veterans across America fight battles that no one can see. Long after the uniform comes off, many carry the weight of trauma, loss, isolation, and the invisible wounds of military service. Too often, these struggles remain hidden behind silence, pride, and the fear of being misunderstood.

* Behavioral shifts: Withdrawing from friends, family, and activities, or giving away prized possessions.
* Mood changes: Exhibiting extreme mood swings, severe anxiety, agitation, or sudden relief after a long period of depression.

How to Take Action:
