• Local Fight for Smile’s package deliveries:
🦸 Emmett, a heart warrior who loved his crayons and stickers!
🦸 Felix, who was all smiles and loves Nemo!
🦸‍♀️ Emma, a sweet little heart warrior full of curiosity!
• Dropped off 20 blanket packages to the Ronald McDonald House of Durham. They included a cozy blanket, fun socks, an activity book, and calm strips (textured stickers for anxiety). Also 20 small grab bags with mini coloring books, bubbles, and calm strips.

• Dropped off some local packages for awesome fighters Silas & Olivia! Tons of special items in each package.
• Gave 30 blanket packages to the Ronald McDonald House of Winston-Salem ()! They included a cool blanket, activity book, socks, candy bag, as well as some hygiene items.

January 2026 — (ending Dec. ‘25)
• We dropped off some packages to the Ronald McDonald House of Greater Charlotte! They included a cozy blanket, festive hat, socks, and crafts, as well as some hygiene items.
• We got to give the venerable monks lots of electrolytes as they passed through on their Walk for Peace.
• Some local super brave siblings got Fight for Smile’s packages:
🦸‍♀️ Aaliyah has down syndrome and is loving sisters Mickey hat we gave her!
🦸‍♀️ Akasha has autism and loves toothbrushes!
• Made snack bags for our local homeless community and handed them out before the snowpocalypse of NC!

–Hello from The Hunny Pot–
We had some Fight for Smile box deliveries, one made it to Canada to an awesome cancer fighter Hendrix before some huge next steps in treatment!!

Also this week, I have had the amazing honor of delivering packages to two incredibly brave local warriors! 🧡

🫀 Waylon is a true heart warrior, living with HLHS (Hypoplastic Left Heart Syndrome) who’s already had 2 open heart surgeries (1st at 6 days old). Despite the challenges he faces, his strength and light shine so brightly with his spunky personality.
🎗️ Killian is courageously battling childhood cancer (Wilms tumor) as well as having a rare genetic disorder, Xia Gibbs Syndrome. He continues to show what bravery looks like every single day!

All of these amazing kiddos received their packages stuffed with all kinds of goodies to help keep them occupied and it was such a joy to bring a little extra sunshine their way! 🌈🎁

To Hendrix, Waylon, and Killian — your courage, strength, and smiles inspire us more than words can say. We are cheering you on every step of the way! I believe in you so deeply, you’re all incredible 💪💙

📦✨ Shipping Day at The Hunny Pot! ✨📦

This week I’ve spent some time getting Fight for a Smile packages ready to head out the door! 💛 From carefully packing each item, to sealing boxes with fun tape, and finally decorating with stickers! Every step brings us closer to delivering hope, comfort, and bringing smiles to some amazing little ones.

Shipping might not always be the most glamorous part of what we do, but it’s such an important piece of the puzzle. These packages are headed to children battling illness, disability, and challenges all over the world many of us can’t imagine or may know so very well — and knowing they’ll soon have a glimmer of happiness makes it all SO worth it.

It’s been a busy but beautiful week full of deliveries! More local drop offs, I had the honor of meeting some incredible kiddos and families — including an adorable trio of siblings with autism and another sweet little girl with health conditions who each received their Smile Package! Love being able to meet this amazing kids and their families.

Each drop-off is a reminder of why The Hunny Pot exists — to spread love, comfort, and connection to kids facing big challenges with so much bravery. Watching their faces light up, hearing their laughter, and sharing a moment with their families fills my heart every time.

✨More Reasons to Keep Us Smiling✨

Today was a beautiful reminder of why I love what I do. We had the joy of delivering three Fight for a Smile packages to local warriors—each one packed with love, comfort, and a whole lot of heart!

💙 Zach, an awesome dude with Autism,
💜 Isla, a sweet girl who also has Autism,
🧡 Emory, a kind little fighter with KBG Syndrome

Each child reminds us that courage comes in all forms and smiles can be the most powerful medicine. These care packages aren’t just gifts—they’re a message that they matter, they’re not alone, and there’s a whole community cheering them on!

There was also a Smile box received by a courageous little one, Camryn! I sent her a very special SpongeBob blanket and box stuffed full of fun items for her & her siblings!

Thank you to everyone who supports The Hunny Pot and helps make moments like this possible. Let’s keep fighting for smiles, one package at a time. 💛📦

💛✨ Fight for Smiles Update ✨💛

Excuse the post shower hair! I’ve been able to put together a few more Smile Boxes recently with only 1 left to be sent out. It fills my heart with so much joy to keep spreading love to the incredible kids and teens we serve. A huge thank you to a sweet friend I’ve connected with over the past few months who helped me get some amazing fleece for blankets — your kindness helps make these boxes even more special! Thank you Gabrielle for being so supportive not only to THP, but in general to me as well! Your words of encouragement and support have helped more than you know.

To everyone who’s been patient with me as I continue my personal health journey, I just want to say: thank you. Your support, encouragement, and understanding means the world. Things may be moving a little slower right now, but we’re still moving — with heart, hope, and purpose. A big thank you to for being along beside me as my journey continues and the thoughtfulness shines bright.

Thank you for hanging in there with me. We’re not just creating care packages — we’re creating moments of comfort, courage, and connection.

We got some great stickers & bracelets to share in our packages as well! I’ll be working on a few local delivery packages in the next few days/week and hopefully dropping them off soon! What an inspiring week it’s been!

I had the amazing opportunity to attend the Next Step Campference in Boston, MA and traveled with a good friend — an unforgettable experience connecting with other young people living with chronic illnesses and sharing stories. The strength, resilience, and laughter shared in that space served as a reminder as to why I aspire to do so much for people like me!

Yesterday, I got to meet an incredibly brave heart warrior and his dad at Duke Children’s. It’s moments like these that fuel our mission and remind us how important it is to show up with love, support, and just to listen.

Also wanted to share, I will be honoring all of our incredible Smile Kids that have gained their angel wings far too soon. On each box will be a special sticker for Everly, Camilo, Jaxen, and Liam. Inside each Smile Box will be some of their favorite things to be shared with others now!

Smile packages were also delivered and mailed to smile warriors these past few weeks — spreading a little joy, comfort, and encouragement to those who need it most.

Every step, every story, every smile matters. Thank you for being part of this journey with us!

We’ve had many Fight for Smiles packages make their way into the hands of some incredible kids! Bringing a little extra joy and comfort to their journeys. I believe that no child should have to face medical obstacles without a reminder that they are loved, supported, and always seen.

Each package is filled with handpicked goodies designed to brighten their day—whether it’s a soft stuffed animal for cuddles, fun activities to spark joy, or words of encouragement to remind them just how strong they are. Seeing their smiles and hearing their stories fuels our mission and reminds us why we do what we do. Every package delivered is a reminder that kindness has the power to heal just a little bit.

We also got another photo of a grab bag recipient from ! Love being able to see the smiles we’re spreading.
