As we look ahead to new opportunities for both local and regional 4-H programming, we want to know more about the amazing skills, interests and experiences of the people in our communities!

This survey is simply a way for us to learn more about you and the ways you might enjoy being involved. Checking an area does not commit you to volunteering for it. It just helps us know who we can reach out to as new programs, workshops, teams and opportunities develop.

You do not have to be a current 4-H volunteer to complete this survey. We would love to hear from parents, grandparents, alumni, community members, industry professionals and anyone else interested in helping youth learn and grow.

Washington County is so proud of Brenda and Keegan Hash and their amazing operation, Morning Harvest Produce, for being recognized as a Featured Farmer at the Indiana State Fair!

We still can’t quite believe it!

If you’re headed to the Indiana State Fair this week, stop by the Indiana Grown building and check out the Featured Farmer banner hanging proudly above us. Being selected as a Featured Farmer by Corteva Agriscience is such an incredible honor and honestly feels a little surreal.

What started as a dream to grow fresh, local produce for our community has grown into an opportunity to represent Washington County agriculture on one of Indiana’s biggest stages. We are so grateful for our customers, partners, family, and everyone who has supported Morning Harvest Produce along the way.

Come see us this Saturday at the Indiana State Fair! We’d love to say hello and share our story with you. 🌱💚

Do you struggle with knowing what to eat or how to prepare healthy meals for yourself or your family? This program might be for you. This is a six-session program focused on nutrition and preparing foods. It will include a session on cooking with an air fryer and using an instant pot.

This program, taught by Washington Co. HHS Educator Sonya Mitchell, is open to everyone and is FREE thanks to a grant from Purdue Extension Community Vitality. At each session, you will receive a meal kit with ingredients and a recipe. If you attend at least 5 of the 6 sessions, you will receive an air fryer at the last session.
