Congratulations to all of our Major and Minor Division baseball players as their spring season wrapped up over the past few days 👏🏼 👏🏼
The Major Division Championship featured an impressive run by the Reds. After suffering an earlier tournament loss, they battled their way through the elimination bracket to earn a rematch with the Giants in the championship round. Because the Giants were undefeated, the Reds needed to beat them twice to claim the title. They took the first game by a score of 4 to 0, forcing a winner take all championship game. The Giants responded in the finale, turning the tables with a 4 to 0 victory of their own to capture the 2026 Major Division Championship.
The Minor Division Championship followed a similar path. The Bulls defeated the Space Cowboys earlier in the tournament, sending the Space Cowboys into the elimination bracket. The Space Cowboys fought their way back through the field to reach the championship round, where they faced the same Bulls team that had handed them their earlier loss. Needing to beat the Bulls twice to win the title, the Space Cowboys rose to the challenge and completed the comeback to earn the 2026 Minor Division Championship.
Congratulations to the Giants and Space Cowboys on their championships, to the Reds and Bulls on outstanding seasons and runner up finishes, and all the teams in both divisions for outstanding seasons.
Softball wrapped up their interleague seasons as well this week. Farm Baseball and Tee Ball will wrap up their seasons in the coming days, but the baseball fun does not have to end there.
Registration for Jimmy Fund Little League, our summer baseball program for players ages 9 and up, closes tonight. If your player is not quite ready to put the glove away for the summer, be sure to register before the deadline and keep the season going a little longer. ⚾️☀️
