The Joe Andruszkiewicz Scholarship Fund was established in 1997 as a memorial to Joe Andruszkiewicz, a lifelong resident of Salem who died that year at the young age of 34. Joe believed strongly in education and always looked to ways he could help foster his same interest in today’s youth. This scholarship fund is seen as a way to keep Joe’s memory alive in the Salem Community of which he was a bi

g part. Each year a scholarship has been awarded to two deserving Salem High School students who intend to concentrate in math, science or a related field.

It is with great sadness that I share the passing of Joe’s sister Carole Mattola 😞❤️
Carole was a wonderful person and supported the Joe Andy Scholarship Fund and supplied the food every year for the cookout after the golf tournament.
