Congratulations to Rebecca Richardson! Librarian at Eureka Elementary School, she goes above and beyond to inspire a love of reading.

She also leads the school’s annual author visit and book club—an incredible event with over 90% student and parent participation—where every student receives a book and experiences stories brought to life.

Through her creativity and dedication, Rebecca makes literacy joyful and accessible for all. Well deserving of this award!

Congratulations to Ethan Minton for winning the teen Book Hero Award!

Ethan Minton is an award-winning literacy advocate, podcast host, and founder of E Train Talks, Inc., a 501(c)(3) nonprofit dedicated to inspiring a love of reading and ensuring every child has access to books. Ethan launched E Train Talks at just ten years old after learning that millions of children lack access to books.

Well deserved. Thank you for all your hard work, Ethan.

The Tony Finau Foundation is the reason Olene Walker Elementary has a dedicated literacy center for both students and families! Honoring this organization at our gala was the easiest decision.

Tony Finau values literacy deeply and is committed to reinvesting his passion for reading into the community where he grew up. Through this partnership, Olene Walker Elementary has seen significant gains in early-grade literacy outcomes.
