What an incredible Field Day! ☀️🏃♂️🏃♀️
Today was filled with laughter, teamwork, friendly competition, and memories our students will be talking about for years to come. None of it would have been possible without the amazing people who stepped up to make the day a success.
A huge THANK YOU to our dedicated staff, parent volunteers, middle school and high school helpers, and community members who donated their time and energy to create such a fun experience for our students.
Special thanks to:
⭐ IGA and Subway for sponsoring our Popsicle & Bubble Station—a favorite stop for many students throughout the day.
⭐ Cedarwood Market for providing music and water throughout the day, helping keep the energy high and everyone refreshed.
⭐ The Idaho Department of Lands for bringing and running the obstacle course.
⭐ School Board Member Paul Sotin and his wife, Suzanne, for keeping the Tug-of-War competition going strong.
⭐ Mr. Hamblin for bringing the excitement and energy to kickball.
⭐ The City of St. Maries for providing the park facilities and assisting with logistics that helped make the day run smoothly.
⭐ The Heyburn maintenance crew for their support throughout the event, including garbage collection and all of the behind-the-scenes work that often goes unnoticed but is essential to making days like this possible.
⭐ Our incredible middle school and high school volunteers who jumped in wherever help was needed.
⭐ Our parent rockstars who helped with setup, stations, lunch service, cleanup, and everything in between.
⭐ And of course, a surprise appearance from Thing 1 and Thing 2, who may have created a little water-filled mischief and plenty of laughs along the way! 💦😄
Field Day is a wonderful reminder of what makes our school community so special. When families, staff, students, local businesses, and community partners come together, amazing things happen.
Thank you to everyone who helped create a day full of smiles, sunshine, laughter, and unforgettable memories for the students of Heyburn Elementary. We couldn't have done it without you. 💚
