St. Joseph Women's Community Club

St. Joseph Women's Community Club Club typically meets 1st Monday each month- 7pm at the St. Joseph Municipal Building, 207 E. Lincoln

SJWCC is made up of local women who come together to serve our community. We host one large fundraiser each year (Glo Bingo and Family Glo Bingo) which gives us the financial means to provide support for those in need. We provide annual scholarships to graduating SJO high school students and donate to various local causes. Thanks to the generous help from our community members, our annual Angel Tr

ee provides Christmas gifts to local children in need, along with groceries for a nice holiday meal for their families. We've partnered with Impact Life to promote local Blood Drives and supported the PTC by purchasing a Smart Board for the school. We also host fun community events like the Mutt Show, old school Bingo at the Fall Festival, and host an annual lighted Christmas parade! We always welcome new members to help with our community-minded mission. Please feel free to join us at our monthly meetings, typically held the first Monday of each month at 7:00 pm at the Municipal Bldg.

A little Festival Bingo history. 📚
In 2022, a festival committee member asked a SJWCC member, if we'd consider running bingo. They we're looking for activities to make up for NO B**r Tent that year. So here's a throwback pic of then, Mayor, BJ Hackler, enjoying our first ever bingo, with the company of his daughter and son-in-law. ❤️ Thank you for making our 5th year of Festival Bingo a great one! This has become a popular festival event, thanks to you! Our community never fails to show up for us. As you can see, it was crowded! Standing room only. Thank you so much for your support! Hopefully you had a great time and left with some swag, generously donated, by Koerner Distributor, Inc. 🥳 See ya next year!

Saturday was a busy day for us, in the BEST way! Between the Mutt Show and Festival Bingo, we were spread pretty thin. Here's a FUN way we're pouring back into our community! When the St. Joseph Illinois Community Festival approached us about sponsoring this new event, it was an easy, "YES!" While we are more known for helping those in need, it is a great feeling to know we're going to bring joy to so many children in our community!
