Our food drive is back! JUST IN TIME FOR CHRISTMAS!!! This Sunday December, 19th we will be delivering food to families in need! We have already had some donations generously collected by the Renew program at our IBEW 601 hall, but we can use some more!
With our busy schedule we only will have one pick up evening this upcoming week. Thursday December 16th, volunteers and myself will be driving around from 4 PM all the way until we have made every pickup. So please if you have any leftover canned goods, or groceries around the household, reach out to me on facebook or through a post. I will reply to you with a confirmation and the information I need for Thursdays pick up. THANK YOU ALL IN ADVANCE!
If you are a family in need feel free to contact me via facebook messenger. I will need a count on members of the household, your address, and if possible a phone number, in case our volunteers or myself needs help finding your location. If you even have a question in your mind whether you'll need assistance please reach out. This is what we are here for and would like to be able to assist as much as we can. I will be working from 7-3:30 and also have class in the evenings, but I will do my best to reply to everyone in a orderly fashion.
Thank you all again for continuing to help us help our community. The Walker James Foundation prides itself in our ability to help others in a time of need, as I myself was blessed with an amazing community that did so for me in my time of need. If anyone has any questions please feel free to reach out to me. As I mentioned before I do work 7AM-3:30 PM, but will get back to you as soon as possible with any answers you may need.
ALSO!! We have some of merchandise still available!! Hoodies, coozies, coasters, bumper stickers, air fresheners and Blue Walker James tees are in short supply, but we have PLENTY OF SAFETY GREEN WALKER TEES AND BRACELETS OF ALL COLORS!!
Hoodies are a $25 donation, tees are $20 for blue and safety green and bracelets are $3 a piece!! All money will go into our last preparations of our Christmas drive. It will provide for such things as Christmas Hams, Turkeys, Potato's or anything else we may feel could be an essential meal item for a family. Please ask myself or Andrew Browne if you need any of our gear. It will also be delivered Thursday evening in the local area (within 50 miles of Champaign), or can be sent through the mail with a small additional charge.
We also receive donations electronically through:

You may also pay for your Walker James gear through said apps, but please let me know that is how you choose to pay.
