Yesterday, CMHP Executive Director Deanna Hemmesch had the pleasure of attending the 50th Anniversary Open House celebrating Blumentals Architecture in Minneapolis.

Congratulations to the entire Blumentals team on this remarkable milestone!

Blumentals has been a valued member of CMHP’s development team for more than 25 years, partnering with us on affordable housing developments that have helped create, preserve, and improve quality housing opportunities for individuals and families across Central Minnesota. Their expertise, dedication, and collaborative approach have played an important role in the success of numerous projects and the communities they serve.

We are grateful for our longstanding partnership and look forward to continuing our work together to expand affordable housing opportunities for years to come.

Central Minnesota Housing Partnership Board of Directors Opportunity

Central Minnesota Housing Partnership (CMHP) is seeking individuals to serve on its Board of Directors who reside within our 16-county service area and can bring the perspective of residents and community members served by affordable housing programs.

We are seeking individuals with lived experience related to affordable housing, rental assistance programs, housing support services, or other housing-related resources. These perspectives are essential in helping CMHP ensure that the voices of the people and communities we serve are reflected in our leadership and decision-making.

At this time, we are especially seeking applicants from Cass, Crow Wing, and Aitkin counties.

We are excited to announce that Minnesota Housing Finance Agency has selected Hilltop Square Apartments in Eagle Bend for funding. CMHP will be working with the city of Eagle Bend to convert the Eagle Bend High School into affordable senior housing for people 55 and older. We couldn't have done this without the support of the community and so many other organizations. However, we still have a gap in funding. Please consider contributing to the State Housing Tax Credit program to help fill our gap.
