What a wonderful summer we are having! Some of our members got together outside for our AAUW bookclub the other evening, generously hosted by Laura Hood. She cleverly created the menu based on recipes from the cooks who were edited by the editor who was the topic of the book we read: "The Editor: How Publishing Legend Judith Jones Shaped Culture in America" by Sarah B. Franklin.

We recently attended the Minnesota AAUW State Meeting and had the chance to hear from some wonderful speakers as well as participate in a silent auction! It was such a rewarding and enjoyable evening, thanks to everyone who joined us.

We had a great evening hosting Federal Judge Laura Provinzino last week at the College of Saint Benedict. Judge Provinzino was an AAUW scholarship recipient when she graduated from Tech High School! Ceci McNair from CSB and Maria Shavers from SCSU had the wonderful opportunity to interview and ask questions. Thanks for cohosting !!

We had a great Saturday meeting at SCSU hosted by Women in CyberSecurity. They spoke about AI and its wide and varied uses. The topic prompted great discussion about ethics, fairness and use of resources. What a great meeting!
