Today, the Episcopal Church of St. Alban the Martyr joyfully celebrated our Patronal Feast Day, honoring St. Alban, the first Christian martyr in Britain and the saint for whom our parish is named.

St. Alban's courage, faith, and willingness to stand for Christ continue to inspire Christians nearly 1,700 years after his witness.

This special day was made even more meaningful as we celebrated our Fathers for Father's Day, Sunday School students, recognized our graduates, and awarded scholarships or giftcards to members of our parish family as they prepare for their next chapter.

As we gathered in worship and fellowship, we were reminded that the Church is more than a building—it is a community where faith is nurtured, traditions are passed on, and future generations are encouraged to grow in God's love.

Congratulations to all of our students and graduates, Happy Father's Day to our Fathers and happy Feast of St. Alban!

🎨🖌️ Many Hands Make Light Work! 🖌️🎨

A huge thank you to the dedicated men of St. Alban the Martyr who came together yesterday for our Men's Painting Party and helped give Young Hall a fresh new look!

From ladders and paint rollers to teamwork and laughter, the day was filled with fellowship, hard work, and a shared commitment to caring for our parish home. The transformation is incredible, and we're so grateful for everyone who rolled up their sleeves and contributed their time, talent, and energy to this project.

St. Alban's is more than a building—it's a community. And when members come together in service, wonderful things happen.

Thank you to our Men's Guild and all the volunteers who helped make this day a success. Your efforts will be appreciated for years to come!

👏 Job well done, gentlemen!

Voices of St. Alban's ❤️

What makes a church feel like home?

In this edition of our Voices of St. Alban's series, we hear from three members of our parish family—Mrs. Wright, Fr. Bob Griffith, and Malani—each sharing what keeps them coming back to St. Alban the Martyr.

Though their experiences and generations may differ, a common thread runs through their stories: faith, community, friendship, and the love of Christ found within this parish.

The Church is at its best when people of all ages come together to worship, serve, learn, and grow in faith side by side.

We're grateful for every person who helps make St. Alban the Martyr the welcoming and vibrant community it is today.

❤️ Why St. Alban's? ❤️

Every church has a story, but the heart of every church is its people.

We recently asked a few members of our St. Alban the Martyr family a simple question:

✨ "What keeps you coming back to St. Alban's?" ✨

Their answers remind us that church is more than a building. It's a place of worship, fellowship, friendship, service, and belonging. It's where we encounter Christ and walk alongside one another in faith.

We're grateful for the many people who make St. Alban the Martyr such a welcoming and vibrant community, and we're excited to share more of their stories in the weeks ahead.

What keeps YOU coming back to church? We'd love to hear your thoughts in the comments below.

🕊️✨ Trinity Sunday at St. Alban the Martyr ✨🕊️

On this First Sunday after Pentecost, the Church celebrates Trinity Sunday—a day when we reflect on the mystery and beauty of God revealed as Father, Son, and Holy Spirit.

In today's sermon, Fr. Keith invited us to consider one of life's most important questions:

Why does the Church exist?

Drawing from the Great Commission in Matthew's Gospel, he reminded us that the Church exists to share the love of Christ, make disciples, baptize, and invite others into the life of God.

Using the beautiful image of the Holy Trinity as a dance of perfect love, unity, grace, and relationship, Fr. Keith reflected on how, through baptism, we are invited into that divine dance. Just as the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit exist in perfect communion, we too are called to live in community with one another—supporting, forgiving, encouraging, and loving one another as members of the Body of Christ.

One of the most powerful reminders from today's sermon was that when one member of the Body is missing, the dance is incomplete. The Church is strongest when all are welcomed, valued, and invited to participate in God's work.

May we continue to grow together in faith, deepen our relationships with one another, and share Christ's love with the world around us.
