As our Director of Education and Community Outreach, Bethany Dellapolla plays an important role in bringing our Literature Live! program to life each year, helping introduce thousands of students to the magic of live theater.

But this year, she's getting even closer to the action!

Bethany is also serving as Assistant Director of Harper Lee's To Kill a Mockingbird, working alongside director Stephen Hamilton as this powerful story comes to life on our stage.

We love this little behind-the-scenes glimpse from rehearsal, and we love seeing Bethany bring her passion for theater and education together in such a special way!

Something wonderful is coming to Sag Harbor this holiday season!

American Hotel proprietor Susie Franklin is bringing the village together for "Let's Holiday in Sag Harbor," a celebration of lights, music, and community inspired by her love for this special place.

For those of us at Bay Street Theater who knew and admired Ted Conklin, this is especially meaningful. Ted loved Sag Harbor, and Sag Harbor loved him right back.

Last December 15, neighbors gathered outside the American Hotel to sing "White Christmas" for Ted. This year, Susie is carrying that beautiful spirit of love and togetherness forward, with another community celebration on December 15.

What a wonderful way to honor Ted's memory and celebrate everything that makes Sag Harbor so special. Thank you, Susie!

A special thank you to Cailin Riley and Sag Harbor Express and 27east for sharing the story behind this wonderful community initiative.
