John and I are excited and honored to share the stage tomorrow with so many amazing people.
We open the day at 8 am with a story we haven’t told yet. The story of the day I received the diagnosis and our journey of that first year. A journey of a 22 year old single mom who had never heard the word autism and what unfolded after.

Yesterday Anthony joined the panel at Shriners to share his story of being diagnosed with a rare condition during his sophomore year that required two knee surgeries (both knees - cadavers), months of relentless rehab/therapy and fighting his way back to play the game he loves. 🏈
He met Olympic Gold Medalist Debbie Meyer (she adorned him with her medals) who shared her inspiring story.
Thank you Mark S Allen for the kind words, Debbie for the inspiration and Shriners Childrens for the excellent medical team who went above & beyond.
It’s a gift to us as his family to sit under the lights on Friday nights and watch him chase his dreams. We are forever grateful.
Anthony, God has so much more for you and we are so proud of you for using your story to plant seeds of hope. Never Give Up.

Thank you to everyone who donated to his trip.
Thank you Team Achilles and guides, Guy from Munich and Lukas from Austria, for bringing him through.

This young man from Sacramento with nonverbal autism just ran on one of the biggest stages in the world and acquired his 4th Abbott Major Marathon star. As his mom, I’m just so grateful to everyone who helps make these big dreams come true.

Berlin you were so much fun.

Thank you co-workers/friends for the Berlin send off luncheon. Your gifts were so thoughtful. What a blessing you are. To all of you out there who have sent him messages of love, thank you.

We leave for Germany in a couple days and it’s been a wonderful week of special moments with runners, friends and family. We’ve never been out of the country & it’s just the two of us on this adventure so I’ve been anxious but I know God is in this story and have no doubt we are covered.

John, you’re running the Berlin marathon. 🎉
