Start your Labor Day weekend off the right way with a gorgeous riverside ride! We'll meet at Ulysses S. Grant Park in Downtown Sacramento and then make our way over to the American River Parkway. From there, we’ll pedal our way to Bella Bru in Carmichael, where you’ll have the perfect opportunity to refuel with a sweet treat and maybe even a delicious caffeinated bevvie. We'll take a slightly different route back so we don't get trail fatigue.

With only a touch of elevation gain and lots of easy bike trail miles, this is a perfect route for newbies! Don't let the brief jaunt on the surface streets scare you: NCAC riders will show you how to stay safe on the roads. (Does anyone else just love doing the bike hand signals? Just me?) And you don't have to be committed to NCAC to join—our rides are open to all.

This Saturday, August 15th, we’re doubling down on connection and compassion! ❤️ Join us for two incredible events – starting with a leisurely ride kicking off at 8:30AM from Bella Bru Cafe in Carmichael. We’ll be rolling towards Folsom on a mix of trails and roads (and donut stop!) – it's all about enjoying the ride together.

Then, at 6PM, we’ll be celebrating with our annual Check Distribution ceremony! 🎉 This is where we get to share the incredible impact of your generosity – distributing our funds raised through the ride directly to 13 vital HIV/AIDS organizations across Sacramento. It's a truly humbling experience to see how your support transforms lives.

We Want You!

More specifically, we want to ride with you.

What better way to stay connected with your NCAC family than by joining our new fall ride series simply called Staying Connected Rides!

These rides are designed to keep us together, keep us active, and keep the wheels turning between cycling seasons. This is not a progressive training series. Instead, from August through November, we'll offer two rides each month:

- One ride that is shorter, flatter, and less challenging.
- One ride that is longer and more challenging, with some climbing.

Whether you're looking for a relaxed day in the saddle or a ride that will test your legs a bit more, there will be something for everyone.
The Staying Connected Rides are a great opportunity to catch up with fellow NCAC family members, enjoy some time on the bike, and keep those cycling muscles tuned up
for the adventures ahead.

Our first ride takes place on August 15, and all Staying Connected Rides are now posted on the calendar.
