The Russell Play Park Committee and the City of Russell are excited to invite you to the official ribbon cutting and celebration for the new Russell Play Park!

What began as a dream and a community-wide effort has become a reality. Thanks to the generosity of donors, volunteers, businesses, organizations, and countless supporters, Russell now has a beautiful new play space for children and families to enjoy for years to come.

To celebrate this incredible accomplishment, we'll gather for a ribbon cutting ceremony followed by hot dogs, cookies, lemonade, and other sweet treats generously provided by our community partners.

Most importantly, we want the children of Russell to be part of this special moment!

We can't wait to celebrate with you! ❤️💙

Freedom Fest 2026 Update:
Please be advised that the Dynamite Dash has been canceled due to a lack of an available location. We are still accepting entries for the 5K, the parade, and the house decorating contest. You can submit your registrations online at russellchamber.org. Raffle tickets, shirts and ducks can be purchased at the Chamber office.

RCACF surprised Steve Burns and the Post Rock Squadron of the Civil Air Patrol with a $250 Random Grant of Kindness. Steve and other volunteers work with local youth to provide leadership development, aerospace education, emergency services training, and life skills.

Thank you Post Rock Squadron for building future aerospace leaders.
