Pack activities include camping, fishing, archery and BB gun shooting, building things, service projects, Memorial Day Flag planting, Welcome Home Celebrations for Returning Heroes, launching rockets, racing, field trips, sports, earning achievement badges, and much, much more. The adventures start with Cub Scouting, a year-round family program designed for boys AND girls in Kindergarten through 5
th grades, or 5 to 10 years of age. Cub Scouts emphasize shared leadership, learning about the community, family understanding, character development, citizenship training, and personal fitness. Give your son or daughter a valuable gift by enrolling him in Cub Scouting today. Our Pack is chartered through the Runnemede Scouting Association in Runnemede, N.J. We are a member of the Crossroads District of the Garden State Council. We are the primary Pack for Runnemede and Bellmawr, but also welcome boys and girls from neighboring communities to join our pack. Most kids in our pack usually attend Bingham, Downing, Mary E. Theresa, Bellmawr Park, and Ethel Burke Elementary Schools. Our Scouting program year runs from September to August. We meet as a Pack once per month at the Runnemede Community and Senior Center located at 2 Broadway, Runnemede, N.J. (attached to the Runnemede Library and Harry Williams Community Center), and the individual Dens will meet on a weekly basis from September thru May. We have monthly activities during the summer in June, July, and August. Typical Pack activities include, but not limited to; Spring and Fall Family Camping, Hiking, Fishing, Fund Raisers, Scouting for Food Drive, Marching in the Runnemede 4th of July Parade, Wreath laying at the Harry Williams Building, flag retirement on Flag Day,our Annual Family Picnic and Rocket launch, Pinewood Derby, Build Your Derby Car Night, Rain Gutter Regatta, Blue and Gold Banquet, Welcome Home Celebrations for Returning Military Heroes, Scout Skills Day, Memorial Day Flag Planting, Summer Day Camp, and Summer Webelos Resident Camp.
