June 2026 General Membership Meeting under the command of Commander Ronald Epps. We had 18 members present tonight. Ronald Epps and Richard Vining received their Chapter Service Officer recertification certificates tonight. Commander Epps reported that Chapter 72 received the Outstanding Small Chapter of the Years at the Summer State Conference.

This morning members of DAV Person County Chapter 72, Person Veterans Council, American Legion Riders Post 138, NC,Pvt. Lester Blackwell Post 138 American Legion, City Councilman Mark Phillips and a mom and her three kids retrieved the flags of our Veterans graves at Person Memorial Cemetery and Burchwood Cemetery.

Today we thank all our female veterans for their service to our great nation……..

This Saturday at 8:00am we will be retrieving the flags from our Veteran’s graves. We will start at Person Memorial Cemetery on Durham Road and then move to Burchwood Cemetery on the Old Durham Road. If public would like to assist us we would be honored to have you there.
