Welcome Channing back to the rescue. As it turns out, she must be the only dog.
Channing is 5 and 8.6 pounds. She is a sweet lap dog but refuses to share her person.
Channing is up to date on vaccines. She is on heartworm prevention, and recently had a dental. She is spayed and microchipped.

Cookie update. She was adopted about a year ago. From these photos, she is living her best life. Such a happy little Frenchie. I love how she has a photo for every occasion. Her mama loves her and it looks like Cookie could not be happier.
We love updates on dogs that we've adopted out. This is why we do it. So these dogs have a happy rest of their life.

Little Bit. Spitfire pup. She plays with Cayenne sometimes. The bigger thing here is that Cayenne is so gentle with her. Little Bit needs a home with a small dog who can't hurt her because she will get in their face whether they like it or not. They both have meets this weekend.

Cayenne. Some days we call it in because we are tired. Slap a photo into a meme, call it a day. Today we are cleaning pens and kennels. We also have to trim nails which is always fun. (Not) Cayenne has a couple of meets but she'll likely still be here a bit. She is making progress but it's very slow.

Walk this morning. Too many... But Pops (small black dog, he's mine) really wanted to go and some days I don't feel like multiple walks. Pops walks too slow for this crew. Cayenne is still the best on leash. She deals with the chaos of tangled leashes and slowing down for Pops or speeding up for Izzie. Teddy is decent on leash but like most males dogs, stops to pee/mark things the whole way.

Cayenne playing with Izzie. She also plays with little bit and doesn't hurt her. She's very gentle and can make friends with almost any dog.

Cayenne is becoming more of a sweet dog daily. Now clue how far she'll progress. Every feral dog is different. We don't know her trauma or what made her this way. She likely had to fend for herself. We do know she doesn't want to bite, she runs away. We know she's pretty. We also know she is gentle when she plays and can befriend any dog. She plays with Izzie who is 54 pounds and Mouse who is 7 pounds. Also the ones in between. She loves playing with all of them. Apply to meet her.
