As we approach the upcoming holiday weekend, we would like to remind everyone about our community policy regarding fireworks. In order to ensure the safety and well-being of all residents and to comply with local regulations, fireworks of any kind are strictly prohibited within our community.

We understand that celebrations are a special time to gather with friends and family, and we encourage you to enjoy the festivities responsibly. However, please note that fireworks pose significant risks, including fire hazards and potential injuries. Additionally, the loud noises can disturb pets, wildlife, and individuals who may be sensitive to sudden loud sounds.

We kindly ask for your cooperation in adhering to this policy and exploring alternative ways to celebrate that do not involve fireworks.

Your cooperation in maintaining a safe and enjoyable environment for all residents is greatly appreciated.

Upper Passage Pool Opening on Friday, May 23rd

The pool is open to swim starting Friday, May 23rd. Please be respectful of your neighbors and follow the pool rules at all times.

If you need to request an access device, please see the announcement in Town Square - "Request an Access Device" for detailed instructions. If you have an issue with your device, please open a "Request" in Town Square and include the number on the back of your device.

We appreciate your patience during this time for improvements!

Upper Passage Pool Still Closed

This is a friendly reminder that the Upper Passage pool remains closed as we complete the final stages of plaster work and necessary aftercare. We understand everyone is eager to enjoy the pool, and we appreciate your patience and understanding as we work to ensure a safe and high-quality facility for all.

We will provide an update as soon as the pool is ready to reopen. Thank you for your cooperation and support. We are very close!

The Blue Ridge pool remains open.

UPDATE ** Pool Parking Lot Entrance Closure - Upper Passage Lane | Anticipated 04/14 - 04/18/25 **

The closure of this entrance was not required after all!

ORIGINAL MESSAGE
We anticipate the pool parking lot entrance on Upper Passage Lane to be closed starting Monday, April 14th and could run through Friday, April 18th. These dates are subject to change. Please do not attempt to enter the parking lot via this entrance or to drive over hose.

The fire hydrant on Upper Passage Lane will be used to refill the Upper Passage Pool and the hose will cross over that entrance to the pool, requiring that entrance to be closed. However, the pool parking lot is NOT closed and the entrance on Stone Oak Drive will be open.

Community Garage Sale

Our Annual Spring Neighborhood Garage Sale is coming up!



When: Friday, April 11th and Saturday, April 12th

Time: Beginning at 7:00 am both days



The HOA will advertise this event in the Austin American Statesman. Signs will be posted at the entrance of Stone Oak.

The front entrance light pole replacement is still in progress due to many different factors, including insurance processing, long delivery delays and damaged glass during transit requiring a freight claim for replacement. The intent during replacement was to replace the light pole with a product that was as close to the original as possible, which proved to be very difficult given the age and style of the original light pole. This severely limited our options but we are dedicated to continue to work with the vendor. We appreciate your patience!

In an effort to better serve our community, the stoneoakhoa.org website will be removed and Town Sq will be utilized for all HOA information and communication effective April 30, 2025. Town Sq provides information to help you stay informed about the latest news, events, and important updates, as well as access to your account balance, community documents and the request feature for homeowners that can be viewed by all departments in management, as well as the Board to better assist our homeowners.

Current Website: The current website (stoneoakhoa.org) will be going offline April 30th, 2025. This includes all links, previous email addresses, etc.
Town Sq: Town Sq is currently active for all homeowners.

The neighborhood garage sale has been postponed due to forecasted weather (on multiple models.) Tentatively rescheduled for April 21/22.

Wild Hog Issues

As many have noticed or heard, the Stone Oak area is now dealing with these uninvited "guests." We've been in contact with the City of Round Rock. As these are feral, Animal Services will be of no help. The City Manager and Director of Community and Neighborhood Services are looking up all the information they have about a similar event in 2020. At the time, State and Federal wildlife contacts had been working with TSC for remediations, we are waiting on this information. We've also requested direct contact information from the City for Wilco counterparts in hopes of a program which places traps.

For the immediate term, the City has recommended the use of "Wild Hog Scram" repellant. Online reviews and posts show this works really well when applied liberally.

We'll post an update as we have more information.

3/31 UPDATE: We got contact info for the "Texas Hog Management &M" rep for our area, a USDA Trapper for Wilco, and TSC (quarry) today. These are two years old, hopefully still good. We'll burn up the phones on Monday.
