What a wonderful ribbon cutting and 90th Anniversary celebration yesterday! We appreciate everyone who helped us commemorate this important milestone. Thank you to the Rossford Library Foundation for the sculpture garden which is such a beautiful gift to our library and community. The pieces can be interpreted as “Igniting (flame) the Passion for (heart): Literacy, Creativity, Culture and Fantasy (book page origami dragon) at the library”. It was great to work with the artists and meet the local students from TSA who advised the project. The new mural by Dean Davis on the front of the building really completes our updated look. We hope all are inspired by 90 years of library service to Rossford as we look ahead to the future!

Everyone is familiar with the Gordon Lightfoot song, but there's still so much more to learn about the wreck of the Edmund Fitzgerald on November 10, 1975. Join us nearly 51 years to the day to revisit the timeline and details of this ill-fated voyage; presented by Christopher Gillcrist, Director Emeritus of the National Museum of the Great Lakes. This program is free and open to all, however, registration is requested by calling (419) 666-0924.
