As Thanksgiving approaches, we reflect on the past year and express our heartfelt appreciation to those that continue to support such an important mission.
As a Folds of Honor chapter, we are philanthropically committed to supporting our military and first responder families year-round. Recently, we helped in the gifting of a Mercedes-Benz to a deserving veteran named Courtney Caldwell Clemons.
Courtney joined the United States Marine Corps in 1998 as a Machine Gunner, 1st Battalion, 2nd Marines. After four years, he transferred into the Ohio Army National Guard as an Infantryman. Over his 22-year career, he had many assignments including being deployed in 2008 to Iraq for Operation Iraqi Freedom. After returning home, he became a recruit for the Ohio Army National Guard, retiring in August of 2021. During our 8th Annual Patriot Golf Day at Inverness Club this past June, Courtney was among those local, retired military personnel that were recognized as guests of honor.
It’s our hope that these acts of kindness make a real difference for those who serve our country.
